Cost Accounting Supervisor

The Cost Accounting Supervisor role is onsite in Livermore, CA, with pay of $55–$65 per hour and a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The role supports a manufacturing organization and partners with manufacturing and operations leaders on financial performance and operational improvement. The supervisor leads cost accounting operations, maintains reliable inventory and product-cost data, and provides reporting and analysis that inform business decisions. The role contributes to accurate financial reporting, effective inventory controls, and continuous improvement across production operations.

What you'll do

• Lead and direct the cost accounting team
• maintain inventory valuation, standard costs, and manufacturing cost data
• evaluate purchasing trends, material pricing, and production activity
• analyze inventory and recommend reserves for excess or obsolete stock
• review labor and overhead allocations
• prepare month-end entries and reconciliations
• produce cost, inventory, and variance reports
• support inventory counts, budgeting, forecasting, audits, and process improvements.
