Accountant — General Ledger, 6-Month Contract

The General Ledger Accountant role is onsite in Lafayette, IN, for a six-month contract, with compensation of $23–$32 per hour. What you'll do

• Enter journal entries and manage monthly close
• prepare internal management reports
• prepare and validate balance-sheet reconciliations
• prepare schedules for quarterly external reporting
• develop working knowledge of plant activities
• support Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and internal-control testing
• support GL accountants and plant controllers
• respond to auditor requests
• review warranty spending and develop an accrual-rate model
• support accounts receivable management
• reconcile intercompany accounts and resolve variances.
