Assistant Manager

The Assistant Manager role is onsite in Richmond, VA. Compensation is $15–$17 per hour. The role supports day-to-day operations at a GPM Investments convenience store. The assistant manager helps maintain store performance by supporting customer service, team leadership, inventory, merchandising, scheduling, and financial procedures. The role also steps in as acting manager when the Store Manager is away.

What you'll do

• Support daily store operations
• run the register and assist customers
• coach team members on upselling products and promotions
• help hire, train, and lead staff
• act as manager when the Store Manager is off
• manage inventory, ordering, and merchandising
• maintain store and exterior cleanliness
• create team schedules
• handle cash, deposits, and store financials
• and provide feedback and leadership to the team.
