What you'll do

• Prepare hot and cold menu items, including entrees, sides, breakfast items, salads, and desserts
• oversee cafeteria kitchen operations in the supervisor’s absence
• follow portion, taste, and presentation standards
• train and support culinary team members
• maintain a clean, organized, HACCP-compliant kitchen
• monitor inventory and assist with ordering
• operate and maintain equipment
• participate in menu planning or daily specials when needed
• coordinate with the cafeteria supervisor and executive chef.
