Medical Assistant

What you'll do

• Prepare patients for provider visits by recording height, weight, and vital signs and reconciling medications and allergies
• follow health maintenance and chronic care protocols
• prepare rooms and patients for procedures and examinations
• conduct pre-visit planning
• coordinate with providers and care team members
• assist with medication, lab-result, and procedure needs
• collect and label specimens
• perform screenings
• maintain supplies and records
• complete forms and requisitions
• follow infection-control procedures
• support quality improvement and medication prior authorizations.

Why this role
