Buyer / Shift Lead

The Buyer / Shift Lead is an onsite, part-time role in Austin, TX. Compensation is $12–$15 per hour. Kid to Kid North Austin buys and sells gently used children’s clothing, shoes, toys, and equipment. The role combines customer service and retail operations with evaluating and selecting merchandise for the sales floor. It also supports store organization and daily operations, with opportunities to help lead team members when appropriate.

What you'll do

• Assist customers and operate the register
• appraise and select quality used children’s products
• identify styles, brands, and trends
• price, tag, hang, and merchandise products
• maintain an organized sales floor
• learn point-of-sale technology
• cross-train in store areas
• address customer questions
• assist the Store Manager with daily operations
• open and close as scheduled
• and support team members when appropriate.
