The engineer joins Stanley Consultants’ Minneapolis civil engineering team, supporting varied infrastructure and site development projects. The role develops civil designs and technical deliverables, coordinates with other engineering disciplines, and supports projects from concept through construction. It also offers increasing ownership of design decisions and project coordination while contributing to infrastructure, utilities, water, energy, and site development work.

What you'll do

• Develop site layouts, grading plans, and earthwork designs
• design stormwater, drainage, conveyance, and site utility systems
• develop roads, access drives, parking, and pavement layouts
• perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses
• prepare drawings, specifications, calculations, reports, and cost estimates
• coordinate across engineering disciplines
• participate in field investigations and construction support
• review work
• take increasing responsibility for technical decisions, coordination, schedules, and budgets.
