What you'll do
- Assess patients before, during, and after HBOT sessions
- operate and monitor hyperbaric chambers under safety protocols
- educate patients and families
- respond to complications
- administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- document care, chamber logs, and outcomes
- collaborate with physicians and wound-care specialists
- maintain safety, infection-control, and fire-prevention compliance
- assist with emergency procedures
- start and manage IVs, verify consents, and prepare patients for surgery.
