What you'll do

• Conduct patient assessments, clinical interviews, mental health evaluations, standardized psychological testing, substance-abuse screenings, and nursing assessments
• identify diagnoses and provide education
• monitor and document progress
• provide or assist with individual and group counseling and therapeutic activities
• implement safety precautions
• assist with activities of daily living and vital signs
• coordinate care and referrals
• comply with policies and standards and participate in training and improvement activities.

Why this role

Requires graduation from an accredited Psychiatric Technician program or qualifying equivalent education and experience; at least 12 months of full-time experience after graduation; and current Basic Life Support certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
