What you'll do

• Coordinate daily admissions department operations and census updates
• screen referrals and route them to the Director of Nursing Services or designee
• review pre-admission information and verify insurance
• coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers
• assist families with procedures and facility tours
• review agreements and obtain documentation
• communicate admissions to the interdisciplinary team
• support facility marketing and community outreach
• protect health information under HIPAA.
