What you'll do

• Obtain, confirm, and update patient demographic and insurance information
• collect required forms and documentation
• verify insurance coverage, coordination of benefits, and authorization requirements
• explain payment expectations and prepare procedure estimates
• screen self-pay patients for potential funding sources
• coordinate with clinical areas on financial expectations and revenue-cycle issues
• collect, post, and reconcile patient payments
• complete registrations and required documentation
• provide courteous service and resolve basic billing inquiries.
