The Summer Associate (Family Law) position is onsite in Denver, CO, as part of Cordell & Cordell’s 2027 Summer Associate Program. Pay is $35 per hour. Cordell & Cordell focuses on family law and represents clients in domestic litigation. The program gives second-year law students practical experience modeled on a first-year associate role. Through legal work, mentorship, court exposure, and professional development, the associate contributes to active family law matters while exploring a path to a family law career.

What you'll do

• Draft and analyze legal documents in active family law matters
• conduct legal research and assist with trial materials
• attend court proceedings with experienced attorneys
• participate in client meetings
• work with a Litigation Partner
• participate in firm-sponsored networking and social events
• assist with other tasks as needed.

Why this role
