Plant Maintenance Engineer

Job overview

The Plant Maintenance Engineer role is onsite in Petersburg, VA. Compensation is $100,000–$120,000 per year. The role supports Phlow’s manufacturing maintenance team and its process and support equipment. The engineer helps maintain equipment uptime and safe, compliant operations by overseeing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting failures, and coordinating repairs and installations. The role also supports technicians, investigates root causes, maintains maintenance records, and identifies improvements to equipment and procedures.

What you'll do

• Create and oversee scheduled preventive maintenance for manufacturing equipment
• diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair production and facility equipment
• investigate failure root causes and implement corrective actions
• source parts and vendors
• assist with equipment installation, commissioning, and calibration
• maintain work orders, repair logs, parts inventory, change controls, and deviations
• coordinate maintenance with production, quality assurance, engineering, and contractors
• recommend process and maintenance improvements
• follow and enforce site safety protocols.
