Bus Driver

Job overview

The Bus Driver role is onsite in Winston-Salem, NC. Compensation is $18–$20 per hour. The driver supports the University of North Carolina School of the Arts by transporting students and patrons to local and statewide destinations. The driver provides safe, scheduled transportation while following traffic and transportation rules, supervising students, and maintaining the vehicle and required records.

What you'll do

• Drive buses and other state vehicles to scheduled destinations
• follow applicable laws, policies, and transportation guidelines
• maintain safe driving standards
• supervise students and maintain discipline
• provide responsible leadership on school field trips
• report accidents and meet post-accident testing requirements
• inspect and clean buses
• participate in onsite training
• complete related duties as assigned.

Why this role
