Level 3 Installer, Nationwide Travel

The Level 3 Installer, Nationwide Travel role is onsite, based in Columbus, OH, and requires nationwide travel, including travel for 100% of the time for three consecutive weeks or more with field breaks as business needs allow. Pay is $31.50–$32.50 per hour. The role supports telecommunications installation projects. The role exists to lead complex common-systems installation activities, testing, documentation, and quality work while coordinating lower-level installers. It contributes to project completion by applying technical standards, interpreting engineering documents, and following safety requirements.

What you'll do

• Install or remove common-systems equipment hardware and wiring on non-working equipment
• lead verification and continuity testing
• analyze job specifications and drawings
• prepare job change order summaries, methods of procedure, and job information memorandums
• assign work to Skill Level 1 and 2 installers
• resolve drawing or specification problems
• conduct in-process and final quality inspections
• and act as the installation supplier's in-charge person on common-systems jobs. Work on working equipment or circuits requires direct supervision.
