Accounting & Payroll Specialist

The specialist reports to the Director of Accounting, a CPA, and supports the finance team’s planned transition from QuickBooks to Odoo. The role owns payroll processing and related tax compliance while maintaining bookkeeping and ledger support. It contributes to reliable payroll and financial records and helps ensure a smooth ERP migration through data preparation, validation, and parallel testing.

What you'll do

• Process payroll cycles, audit timesheets, coordinate tax withholding and deposits, prepare quarterly and annual payroll tax reports, and assist with year-end reconciliation and W-2 and 1099 distribution
• support QuickBooks-to-Odoo data migration and parallel payroll testing
• post transactions and journal entries
• process vendor invoices and customer payments
• reconcile bank and credit card accounts
• compile documentation for month-end close.
