What you'll do

• Lead activities that promote physical, mental, and social development, including games, arts and crafts, music, storytelling, and field trips
• treat children with courtesy, respect, acceptance, and patience
• enforce classroom behavior and safety procedures
• provide instruction, demonstrations, and work time that encourage observation and investigation
• adapt teaching methods and materials to children’s needs and interests
• welcome arriving children and help them settle into activities
• attend to age-appropriate needs such as feeding, dressing, and diaper changes
• teach eating habits and personal hygiene.
