Plant Lean Technical Specialist

The Plant Lean Technical Specialist is an onsite role based in Gilbert, AZ, with compensation ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 per year. This position supports the Silent-Aire division of Johnson Controls by driving continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives across operations. This role exists to lead Lean transformation activities, including Kaizen events and value stream mapping, to enhance operational efficiency. The specialist provides technical guidance to manufacturing teams, facilitates structured problem-solving, and ensures that Lean principles are effectively embedded into daily management systems.

What you'll do

• Support Lean events including Kaizen, SMED, 5S, and standard work development.
• Lead Value Stream Mapping and develop future-state plans.
• Drive structured problem solving using A3 and PDCA methodologies.
• Partner with operations and engineering to embed Lean principles.
• Provide technical direction for prototyping and support 3P activities.
• Develop visual management systems and performance metrics.
• Coach and mentor employees to build Lean capability.
