What you'll do

• Clean and disinfect kennels and cages
• prepare species-appropriate food and provide fresh water
• dispose of leftover food and waste
• sanitize litter and food pans
• clean floors, bathrooms, and other facility areas
• wash and store bedding
• notify the facilities manager of repair needs
• move animals for scheduled surgery
• report animal distress, illness, injury, or aggressive behavior to appropriate personnel.
