Custodial Manager

The Custodial Manager role is onsite in Madison, WI, with compensation of $25–$27 per hour. Goodman Community Center is a neighborhood hub offering youth programs, early childhood education, food programs, fitness and recreation, and community events. The manager leads custodial operations to keep the center clean, safe, and welcoming. The role organizes staff and schedules, maintains cleaning standards and supplies, and coordinates event readiness while stepping in to assist with custodial work when needed.

What you'll do

• Supervise, schedule, train, and coach custodial employees
• oversee daily cleaning, sanitation, inspections, and deep cleaning
• coordinate event support with the Hospitality team
• develop schedules and assign work
• manage supplies, equipment maintenance, and expenses
• ensure safe chemical and equipment use and maintain safety documentation
• assist with cleaning and event setup as needed.
