The Precision Machine Tool Maintenance & Installation Technologist position is onsite in Cincinnati, OH, paying $35–$60 per hour. The role performs CNC machine tool installation, maintenance, and repair work for Downtime Rebuild Equipment's customers. The technologist installs and validates CNC equipment, diagnoses mechanical and electrical issues, and performs repairs and preventive maintenance. The work helps customers keep machine tools operating accurately and safely while coordinating progress with project managers, supervisors, and customer stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Install CNC machine tools to OEM requirements and validate performance
• use blueprints, wiring diagrams, manuals, and specifications
• troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• use test instruments and hand tools to diagnose issues
• inspect assemblies and safety functions
• plan tools, parts, and equipment
• perform routine maintenance and help customers develop preventive maintenance schedules
• measure and verify setups and repairs
• communicate progress and findings
• report accidents or mistakes promptly.
