The Certified Surgical Technologist assists in the cleaning and preparation of the operating room suite and participates in the care of surgical equipment at St. David's Medical Center in Round Rock, TX. This full-time, onsite role involves providing care for the operative patient before, during, and after surgery. St. David's is a Magnet® designated hospital known for nursing excellence. This role exists to perform intra-operative management of assigned procedures and anticipate the needs of the surgeon. The technologist works under the direction of a Registered Nurse to ensure a safe and clean surgical environment.

What you'll do

• Assists in cleaning and preparation of the operating room suite
• participates in the care and cleaning of operating room equipment
• performs in a sterile field
• assists the surgeon by providing instrumentation
• provides care for the operative patient before, during, and after surgery
• maintains a clean and safe operating room suite.
