Service Foreman

The Service Foreman role is onsite in Effingham, IL, with a Monday–Friday schedule of 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. and a Saturday rotation. Pay is $50,851.84–$76,277.76 per year, and the position is incentive eligible. Truck Centers, Inc. operates full-service dealerships representing Freightliner and Western Star trucks. The role exists to lead technicians, maintain repair quality and safety, and keep shop work moving. It connects technicians, service administration, dispatch, management, and customers to support timely repairs and dependable service.

What you'll do

• Lead and mentor technicians
• hold weekly shop huddles
• ensure compliance with company and OEM policies
• document findings and communicate next steps
• provide product updates and technical training
• monitor repair progress in the Dealer Management System
• coordinate with dispatch
• liaise with service administration and customers
• monitor shop tools and facilities for safety, cleanliness, organization, and Elite Support standards.

Why this role

Requires diesel or truck repair experience, HVAC certification, Cummins IS engine training, and willingness to obtain at least 50% DTNA expert-level certifications; Class A CDL with air brake endorsement is highly preferred.
