Associate Director, Business Transformation

Job overview

The Associate Director, Business Transformation role is onsite and must be based in Hercules, CA, or Irvine, CA, within commuting distance of an office. The estimated base salary is $179,400 to $240,000 per year; the position is also eligible for a variable annual bonus. The role leads Bio-Rad's business transformation work across product development, manufacturing, and commercial organizations.

What you'll do

• Assess and redesign business processes, operating models, organizational structures, governance, and decision rights
• establish and lead the LEAN Business Transformation function
• facilitate Kaizen events and value stream mapping
• lead change management using Prosci ADKAR or an equivalent methodology
• partner with IT/Digital, Quality, and functional teams on systems, tools, automation, and AI-enabled solutions
• develop business cases and ROI models
• lead transformation programs through benefits realization
• translate strategy into a roadmap with KPIs
• report to executive governance forums
• manage a team of two and external consultants and vendors.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor's degree and 8–12 years of progressive industry experience, including 5+ years leading business transformation. MBA or advanced degree, Prosci, Lean Six Sigma, or PMP certification, and IVD, medical device, or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience are preferred. Domestic and occasional international travel is expected.
