What you'll do

• Educate and support facility staff on Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, eligibility, coverage, documentation, utilization, and reimbursement. Assist with certification procedures, denied claims, audits, and administrative record reviews
• assess payer compliance and develop corrective action plans as needed
• monitor authorizations
• conduct Patient-Driven Payment Model reviews
• review Medicare Part A MDS assessments
• supervise MDS LPN activities and co-sign assessments as required
• gather audit documentation
• review physician documentation and assist with ICD-10 coding and diagnosis ranking
• and complete MDS assessments and integrity reviews as needed.
