The Retail Sales Cashier Associate role is onsite in Cañon City, Colorado. Pay is $16.51 per hour. Goodwill of Colorado’s cashier role supports the organization’s mission by inviting customers to round up transactions and sharing the mission behind that initiative. The associate provides welcoming customer service, processes accurate purchases, and helps keep the sales floor and checkout area clean, organized, and stocked. The role supports store operations through cash handling, opening and closing procedures, and cross-training as needed.

What you'll do

• Greet customers and respond to inquiries
• verify till counts and process accurate transactions
• maintain a balanced cash drawer using a point-of-sale system
• promote the roundup initiative
• assist customers with purchases
• complete opening and closing procedures
• clean, organize, and stock the sales floor and POS area
• follow store and safety procedures
• cross-train in other areas as required.
