Junior Project Accountant (Construction)

The Junior Project Accountant (Construction) role is onsite in Framingham, MA. Compensation is $70,000–$90,000 per year. The position reports to the Senior Cost Engineer at Perini Management Services, a full-service construction firm delivering domestic and international projects. The accountant supports project financial administration through cost accounting, budgets, projections, billing, and reconciliations. The work helps project and operations teams monitor financial activity, resolve discrepancies, and support audits.

What you'll do

• Perform cost accounting for domestic and overseas operations
• enter and maintain budgets
• prepare monthly contract projections and billings, including time-and-materials billing
• process employee reimbursements and vendor and subcontractor payment requests
• assist with monthly work-in-progress revenue recognition
• set up jobs, cost codes, and budgets
• prepare ad hoc reporting and analysis
• maintain and reconcile petty cash and other accounts
• resolve invoice and report discrepancies with internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors
• assist with internal and external audits.
