Accounts Payable Specialist

The Accounts Payable Specialist works onsite in Addison, IL. Compensation is $25–$28 per hour. The role is part of Porter Pipe & Supply’s Finance Department. The specialist manages full-cycle accounts payable to support accurate financial records, timely vendor payments, compliance with company policies and vendor terms, and responsive service to internal and external customers.

What you'll do

• Review invoices transferred through Conexiom into the ERP
• enter vouchers using a three-way match
• enter vendor credits and expense invoices with general ledger coding
• process vendor payments
• manage Concur user setup and batch processing
• review vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• coordinate with internal teams on receiving and purchase order issues
• communicate remittances
• review new vendor documentation
• maintain finance schedules and reports
• back up the AP manager
• assist with employee refunds and travel expenses.

Why this role
