Maintenance Technician, 2nd Shift

The Maintenance Technician, 2nd Shift role is onsite in De Pere, WI. Pay is at least $25 per hour plus a $2 second-shift premium; incentive pay is available. Shopko Optical manufactures eyewear at its proprietary lab for patients at more than 140 eye care centers. The technician maintains and repairs optical lab equipment and facility systems so production and distribution can operate effectively. The role also supports equipment setup, preventive maintenance, safe operations, and ongoing training in the lab.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and repair optical lab equipment
• complete weekly preventive maintenance and daily calibrations, blade changes, and filter changes
• inspect, operate, and test equipment to diagnose malfunctions
• document repairs and maintenance
• coordinate with vendors about parts and equipment diagnosis
• maintain building systems and facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, electrical, landscaping, and snow removal
• attend equipment training and follow safety policies and OSHA regulations.
