What you'll do

• Provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long term care.
• Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles and age-appropriate standards.
• Perform testing to evaluate resident status and provide necessary care.
• Recognize problems, recommend solutions, and respond effectively in emergent situations.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions, care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary information.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Experience

Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span as part of the curriculum or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility.
