Infant Teacher Assistant

The Infant Teacher Assistant role is onsite in Pompano Beach, FL, with full-time hours of 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. or 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Pay is $16–$19 per hour. The role supports Providence Children’s Academy’s early childhood education team; the infant class has six children and two teachers. The position provides attentive daily care and developmentally appropriate activities for infants while supporting their safety, progress, and individual needs. It also contributes to family communication and a clean, licensed classroom environment.

What you'll do

• Provide infant care, including feeding, diapering, and soothing
• plan and implement age-appropriate sensory and developmental activities
• monitor and document developmental milestones and daily progress
• maintain a clean, safe classroom in compliance with licensing standards
• communicate with families
• follow health, safety, and sanitation protocols
• collaborate with lead teachers and staff.
