The Blade Repair Technician role is a full-time traveling field position based in Evansville, WY, with work at wind farms across the United States. Pay is $29–$45 per hour. The technician supports Takkion’s Operations & Repair division by inspecting and repairing wind-turbine composite components. The role restores and maintains turbine blades and related components through safe, documented field repairs. Its work supports wind-farm operations by identifying damage, completing repairs to quality standards, and communicating findings with engineering and customers.

What you'll do

• Inspect and repair wind-turbine blades, nacelles, and nose cones from cable-suspended platforms
• assess damage and laminates
• perform scarfing, laminating, vacuum consolidation, post-cure, hardness testing, fairing, and topcoat work
• conduct internal and borescope inspections and tap tests
• operate and lock out/tag out turbines
• rig and operate access platforms
• document damage and repair steps with photos
• troubleshoot lightning protection systems
• communicate with engineering and customers.
