What you'll do

• Assist with patient admission and orientation
• support nursing and interdisciplinary treatment plans
• assist with therapeutic interventions
• obtain and document vital signs and health information
• perform simple dressing changes, urine testing, EKGs, and approved specimen collection or venipuncture within training and policy
• assist with activities of daily living
• lead or co-lead patient activity groups
• support discharge planning
• escort patients
• assist with safe management of patients in crisis, seclusion, or restraint according to policy
• observe and report changes in behavior, condition, and safety status.
