What you'll do

• Assess and continuously monitor critically ill cardiovascular patients
• monitor hemodynamic status, cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and other critical-care parameters
• administer ordered medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments
• manage and monitor ventilators, drains, lines, and other critical-care equipment
• respond to cardiac emergencies and changes in condition
• collaborate with physicians, surgeons, intensivists, and other healthcare professionals
• educate patients and families
• maintain clinical documentation.
