The Residential Counselor (Behavioral Health) — PRN role is onsite in Jacksonville, FL. Compensation is $16–$17 per hour, depending on education. What you'll do

• Implement cottage activities of daily living
• support clients’ hygiene and grooming
• set appropriate limits
• escort clients to activities or appointments
• observe clients on special precautions
• lead recreational activities
• follow procedures for responding to physically aggressive behavior
• communicate respectfully with clients, families, peers, and the public
• complete assigned work and share current client information with the team.

Why this role

PRN schedule requires at least three days per month, with listed shifts of 7 a.m.–3 p.m., 7 a.m.–7 p.m., or 11 a.m.–11 p.m. On-call as needed. Associate’s degree and at least one year of at-risk children or mental health experience are required.
