The Procurement Manager — Raw Materials and Packaging role is an onsite, full-time position in Montgomery, IL, with compensation of $80,000–$100,000 per year. VVF Illinois Services manufactures and distributes personal care products, including bar soaps, deodorants, antiperspirants, and gels. The manager leads sourcing and procurement across direct and indirect categories to maintain supply continuity, improve cost competitiveness and working capital, mitigate supplier risk, and support manufacturing and distribution operations.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute procurement strategies
• manage sourcing of raw materials, packaging, chemicals, and indirect categories
• lead commercial negotiations, contracts, and supplier relationships
• drive cost savings, should-cost analysis, and working capital improvements
• monitor commodity trends, supply risks, and market intelligence
• develop alternate sourcing and business continuity plans
• collaborate with Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, and Logistics
• track supplier cost, quality, OTIF, and responsiveness
• ensure compliance with procurement policies, contracts, and ERP processes
• support analytics, reporting, and continuous improvement.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or a related field and 8–15 years of procurement experience in FMCG, chemicals, oleochemicals, or manufacturing. SAP and advanced Excel proficiency are preferred.
