Job overview
The Direct Support Staff is an onsite role based in McKeesport, PA, supporting the care team at Delta-T Group Inc. The pay is $17 per hour. This role exists to provide compassion and emotional support to residents with mental health and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities. It contributes to the team's goals by assisting residents with daily tasks and ensuring all activities are designed for individual growth.
What you'll do
- Provide compassion and emotional support to residents with Mental Health and/or IDD, ensuring all activities are designed and implemented with a goal of individual growth.
- Assist residents with tasks they are unable to perform for themselves such as: meal preparation, cooking, bathing, dressing and light housekeeping, monitoring and redirecting residents, as needed.
