The Facilities & Transportation Specialist Assistant role is onsite in Honeyville and Clinton, Utah, with regular travel within Utah, Nevada, and Montana. Compensation is $16.92–$22.83 per hour. The role supports transportation and facilities operations aligned with Head Start guidelines. Working under the Transportation & Facilities Manager, the assistant helps maintain safety, compliance, and operational standards across sites. The role supports inspections, route coordination, driver training and records, facility projects, and emergency planning for programs serving children and families.

What you'll do

• Support transportation and facility safety and maintenance protocols
• conduct spot inspections and unloading audits
• visit sites and report observations
• use assessment and inspection data to support improvement
• monitor and approve transportation routes
• support driver certification and training
• assist with locating facilities and property improvements
• collaborate with vendors, drivers, and staff
• maintain emergency response plans and CDL records
• assist with training and substitute driving as needed.
