The Registered Nurse (RN) — Internal Medicine role is onsite in Arnold, MD. Compensation is stated as $40–$45 per hour. The role supports a private practice Internal Medicine group. This nurse helps the outpatient practice operate effectively by coordinating clinical workflows, triaging patient concerns, supporting care coordination and chronic disease management, and educating patients. The role also supports providers and staff through clinical oversight of Medical Assistants and by maintaining compliance with clinical protocols and quality standards.

What you'll do

• Provide clinical oversight and day-to-day workflow guidance for Medical Assistants
• triage patient messages and clinical concerns for multiple providers by phone and through EHR systems
• perform and document Annual Medicare Wellness Visits
• assist with care coordination, follow-up, and chronic disease management
• review labs, test results, and patient communications and escalate issues as appropriate
• educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
• maintain compliance with clinical protocols, quality metrics, and regulatory standards
• collaborate with providers and administrative staff to support clinic operations
• perform additional nursing duties as needed.
