Heavy Equipment Operator — Steel Mill Operations

The Heavy Equipment Operator role is onsite in Newport, AR. Compensation is not specified. The operator safely moves materials and supports steel-mill production using large mobile equipment. What you'll do

• Operate wheel loaders, dozers, excavators, cranes, material handlers, haul trucks, and other support equipment
• handle slag, scrap metal, raw materials, and finished by-products
• inspect equipment before and after shifts and report concerns
• follow company, site, and safety procedures
• maintain awareness of moving equipment, rail traffic, and high-temperature processes
• complete production and inspection documentation
• participate in safety meetings and training
• assist with basic equipment care and minor adjustments as trained.
