This role utilizes the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to residents, collaborating with inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
What you'll do
- Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care, collaborate with resident, family, and inter-disciplinary colleagues, plan, implement, and evaluate care, demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, utilize appropriate age and population specific standards, care for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment, coordinate care, perform resident assessment and education, perform other nursing interventions, may serve as charge nurse, delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel, ensure safe and reliable administration of resident care, function within scopes and standards of nursing practice.
What we're looking for
- Education
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
