The manager owns sourcing from concept and prototype through production readiness, identifying suppliers and technologies, managing RFQs and qualification, negotiating commercial terms, and preparing handoffs for production. The work helps Engineering and partner teams make informed decisions on cost, lead time, quality, and supply risk as products move toward launch.

What you'll do

• Identify and communicate sourcing risks early
• align supplier evaluation, selection, development, and qualification with sourcing teams
• vet new suppliers for quality, delivery, capability, and compliance
• own RFQs and prototype purchasing
• develop new sources and technologies
• document sourcing strategies and status
• track cost, quality, lead time, and supply risk across bills of material
• partner with Engineering on technical requirements and manufacturability
• maintain supplier agreements
• support funds, invoices, and payments
• improve sourcing processes and project tracking.
