Job overview

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is an onsite, full-time role based in New Brunswick, NJ, with a pay range of $56.66 - $70.12 per hour. This position supports the Plum St. Imaging department at RWJ New Brunswick, a leading academic health system. The role exists to assist the nuclear physician with the implementation of special imaging procedures. The technologist ensures that all tests are performed properly and that results are valid and accurate prior to patient release.

What you'll do

  • Assisting nuclear physician
  • Performing imaging procedures
  • Calibrating dose calibrators
  • Performing QC on gamma cameras
  • Explaining procedures to patients
  • Identifying patients
  • Performing hot lab functions
  • Receiving and discarding radiopharmaceuticals.
