The Adult Family Home Caregiver, 1st Shift role is onsite in Onalaska, WI, with compensation of $18–$20 per hour. The schedule is 7 a.m.–4 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Chileda’s mission is to improve quality of life for people with cognitive and behavioral challenges. The caregiver works directly with residents to build independent living, social, communication, and daily living skills in line with individualized service plans. The role supports residents’ well-being, participation in community activities, and progress toward greater independence.

What you'll do

• Supervise group-home residents
• assist with personal care and prescribed medications as needed
• implement individualized service plans
• support residents’ independence and daily living skills
• perform light housekeeping and minimal maintenance
• transport residents to activities as needed
• participate in scheduled community outings
• prepare meals and teach meal preparation
• and complete daily resident documentation.
