Senior Facets Technical Consultant — Batch and Database Performance

What you'll do

• Analyze and optimize Facets batch jobs, SQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures
• assess batch runtime, dependencies, critical paths, workload, and throughput
• diagnose SQL Server performance issues including locking, blocking, deadlocks, wait statistics, indexing, CPU, memory, and I/O
• recommend batch sequencing, parallel processing, workload distribution, and SQL improvements
• investigate recurring failures and recommend recovery, runbook, monitoring, and automation improvements
• analyze Claims, Payments, XC, and adjudication processing
• establish baselines and validate recommendations through performance and regression testing
• support capacity planning and workload forecasting
• document findings and a prioritized improvement roadmap.
