Assistant Manager — Convenience Store

The Assistant Manager role is onsite in Greenwood, IN. Pay is $14–$16 per hour. The position supports day-to-day operations at a GPM Investments convenience store. The assistant manager helps maintain store coverage, customer service, inventory, and financial processes. By coaching employees and stepping in as acting manager when needed, the role supports consistent store operations and sales.

What you'll do

• Support the Store Manager with daily operations
• run the register and assist customers
• coach team members on product and promotion upselling
• help hire, train, and lead staff
• act as manager when the Store Manager is away
• manage inventory, ordering, and merchandising
• maintain store and exterior cleanliness
• create team schedules
• handle cash, deposits, and store financials
• provide team feedback and leadership.
