Personal Injury Paralegal is a full-time onsite role in the firm’s Manhattan, New York office. Pay is $30–$35 per hour. Meirowitz & Wasserberg, LLP represents injured people and does not represent corporations. The paralegal assists attorneys throughout plaintiff personal injury cases by organizing evidence and client information, preparing filings and case materials, managing e-filing and calendars, and keeping clients informed. This work supports the firm’s representation of injured clients through pre-suit and litigation processes.

What you'll do

• Order and review medical records and other documents and summarize them for attorney review
• conduct initial client interviews and organize case files
• prepare and file complaints, petitions, and other legal documents
• submit No-Fault paperwork
• draft Bills of Particulars and settlement demand packages
• manage e-filing and CMO calendars
• and communicate case updates to clients.

Why this role

Requires at least two years of plaintiff personal injury paralegal experience in New York and familiarity with NYSCEF e-filing. PACER experience and Spanish-English bilingual ability are nice to have.
