The Industrial Automation Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Corsicana, TX, with pay of $34–$38 per hour. The Pro Services employee works on contract at a 24/7 food and specialty packaging plant. The role exists to troubleshoot and repair electrical, controls, and mechanical issues that interrupt production. Rapid, safe repairs help minimize downtime and keep plant lines operating.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot electrical issues from cabinets to field devices
• read schematics
• repair or replace motors, servos, VFDs, transformers, relays, I/O modules, wiring, and sensors
• troubleshoot PLC hardware and ladder logic and use HMIs
• service extrusion hydraulics and packaging pneumatics
• inspect and replace bearings and gearboxes
• follow GMP and plant safety rules.

Why this role

The schedule is a rotating 2-2-3 pattern of 12-hour shifts, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., alternating days and nights every two weeks and covering every other weekend. The first 3–4 weeks are on day shift with senior technicians; overtime is available but not standard.
