Shop Manager, Fabrication Shop

The Shop Manager, Fabrication Shop role is onsite in Farmington, MN, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and occasional overtime. Pay is $28–$32 per hour, depending on experience. A to Z Quality Fencing says the role’s work directly supports its field crews and projects. The manager leads daily shop operations, supports light manufacturing of fence materials, and ensures materials and equipment are ready for field crews. The work includes operating shop machinery, managing inventory and order staging, maintaining equipment and vehicles, and supervising a shop assistant.

What you'll do

• Operate CNC equipment, saws, and shop machinery for light manufacturing of fence materials
• load and unload trucks using a forklift
• maintain inventory
• pull and stage orders
• perform light maintenance on shop equipment and company vehicles
• lead a shop assistant
• keep the shop clean and organized.
