The Senior Accountant (Accountant II) role is fully onsite in Seattle, WA, at the Low Income Housing Institute’s main office. Pay is $34.88–$47.82 per hour. LIHI develops and manages affordable housing and supportive services and works on solutions to homelessness. The accountant performs finance and accounting functions for LIHI, partnerships, and LLCs. The role supports reliable financial reporting, budgeting, reconciliations, and audits, helping the organization manage its housing and community programs.

What you'll do

• Reconcile balance-sheet accounts
• process journal entries and accruals
• support month- and year-end close
• prepare financial statements
• assist with budgets
• process accounts payable and receivable
• reconcile rent rolls and cash receipts
• prepare schedules and audit workpapers
• understand project grants and contracts
• streamline procedures
• manage departmental paperwork.
